As a part of the redesign of our offices, Taylor & Ives commissioned Art Director and sculptor Dan Caspescha to build a human-size sculpture of the T&I ampersand. The 5.5″ structure was constructed from plywood and bent wood, coated with bondo, and given a bright red lacquer and clear finish. It was built with attention to detail at the Norwalk Woodworkers Club in Connecticut and took 120 hours to complete.
